After months of a back and forth push, maybe we can see The Real Americans have a steady run with a long streak of wins. For some reason, the WWE cannot make up their minds on if they are going to push them or make them work three times a week (Raw, Main Event, Smackdown)
You have a former world heavyweight champion in Jack Swagger and a former United States champion in Antonio Cesaro. Throw in the fact that they have Zeb Colter as their manager and more or less mouthpiece, and it is a combination of success in the tag team division. They get mega heat from the promo’s what Colter says prior to the match and they can get it done in the ring.
If they ever wanted to go baby-face, they could do it in a heartbeat. Cesaro is a guy who the fans hate to boo and love to cheer. His giant swing is the second biggest reaction of the night when he does it. Even though it is a rare offensive move, the fans eat it up every time.
Swagger has a problem getting a reaction from the fans. He feels a bit flat in his delivery in the ring. He does not transition well in the ring with getting the fans to buy into what he is doing to an opponent or selling the move that is being performed while taking it. Another idea is that they could have a Jack Swagger vs. Antonio Cesaro feud. That would be decent if booked properly.
Put a mega baby-face in Antonio Cesaro against Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter, who is anti-any-other-race. I am all for American and a fan of Colter, and if they play their cards right, it could be something special. Most likely, the WWE will not break them up and keep them where they are now. They’re tag team champion material, absolutely.
