New Age Outlaws captured the tag team titles at Sunday night’s Royal Rumble pay-per-view against the Rhode Brothers. Cody and Goldust have held onto the titles for some time, but on this night their reign came to an end. Some will agree and some will disagree if they should be champions or even be in the match at their ages.

The New Age Outlaws can bring so much to a division that is trying to build itself up, but will take time. With guys like Prime Time PlayersUso’s and many more, the division has stars but they have not grown into the roles that they can be for the future.

The New Age Outlaws can help them not only in the ring, but can tell stories while they are in there with seasoned guys that know the ins and outs of the wrestling business. They can hold onto the titles for a bit, and then go over for some tag team that WWE has built up in a way that can hold onto the titles for the long haul.

I see this as a positive anyway you look at it and can only bring good things to the division that needs it desperately. Even though they are in elder years, they can still go in the ring, get a reaction from the WWE Universe and most importantly get guys over.

The Rhode Brothers on the other hand, looks like they may be going into a program together, but I would love to see a rematch from both tag teams in the near future.
