Sting Needs To Sign With WWE Now More Than Ever
Sting has wrestled in the WCW and TNA for several years. There is one company he’s always avoided and that’s the WWE. It’s now time for him to finally work in the company.
With CM Punk now gone from the company, the WWE really needs a huge name to fill his place. They brought back Batista and Sheamus, but those two men are largely unpopular to most fans now. I’m sure fans aren’t excited about WrestleMania XXX now with Punk gone and with Randy Orton and Batista being the main event.
Sting, on the other hand, has nothing else to prove in TNA. He’s been the champion many times before and has pretty much faced everyone on its thinning roster. He’s also the first TNA Hall of Famer, so he’s already considered a “legend”. One thing Sting has never done is work for Vince McMahon. I think he should work for the WWE at least once. Sting is such a huge name, and it would be sad if he never had a match at WrestleMania is his illustrious career.
Many fans are angry with the WWE’s current direction with Punk absent from action and the result of the Royal Rumble. A huge match involving Sting might be good enough to get back some fan support. If Sting were to wrestle the Undertaker, it should be a big enough match to attract the masses.
This year, the WWE has no special attraction like the Rock. Hulk Hogan was supposed to be the main attraction for WrestleMania XXX, but he’s too old and busted to wrestle. Sting might be a good replacement at the big show.
