How Is WrestleMania XXX Shaping Up So Far?

WrestleMania XXX Card

We are now officially on the road to WrestleMania XXX and some of the matches have been confirmed already. Is this a dream card?

The best match confirmed so far is Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar. These two went toe-to-toe back in 2002 and 2003, and always had epic matches. I never thought I’d see these two face each other ever again. My only disappointment about this match is that it confirms that Sting won’t be wrestling at WrestleMania this year. Sting vs. Undertaker would have been my first choice, since these two have never faced each other before. I guess that match might happen next year.

The other confirmed match is Batista vs. Randy Orton for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. This match is not as bad as Miz vs. John Cena at WrestleMania 27, but it’s not a match that fans in 2014 really want to see. WWE should have booked this match several years ago when Batista was more popular. Both Orton and Batista are hated by fans now, and I doubt the crowd will be kind on this match.

Another match tipped to be on the card is Cena vs. Bray Wyatt. I like the fact that Cena is facing someone different, but I don’t think this match has the awe factor to be a huge match. If Cena was to put over someone new, I would have preferred Roman Reigns over Wyatt. Wyatt is still relatively new, and they should have waited to push him against Cena.

Lastly, there is Triple H vs. Daniel Bryan. People really wanted Bryan to be in the title match, and not against Triple H. I doubt this match would be interesting since Triple H’s last matches with Lesnar were boring. CM Punk vs. Triple H would have been better for the promos. Bryan is unlikely to cut “real-life” style of promos and the match itself could be average at best.

These are the four main attractions for WrestleMania XXX, but it’s looking like a “meh” card at the moment.
