WWE Will Push The Same Guys Again

It doesn’t appear as if the WWE is looking to build new stars again, as the same guys are getting pushed after WrestleMania XXX.

A report has leaked, showing the top five stars that WWE is planning to push after WrestleMania XXX is over. It doesn’t look like they are wanting to build new stars, as some of the wrestlers that have been named are already receiving huge pushes. The wrestlers that are getting pushed are John Cena, Randy Orton, Sheamus, Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns.

The only somewhat new stars on that list are Bryan and Reigns. I’m guessing Bryan will be WWE World Heavyweight Champion after WrestleMania XXX, so it makes sense that he’ll be in the main event scene. Reigns might be getting a bigger babyface push, as the WWE has been interested in him for a while.

I don’t get why they are still pushing Cena and Orton to the moon. Hopefully it doesn’t mean these two are going to contend for the title against Bryan, because we’ve seen these matches before. Not to mention Cena and Orton shouldn’t win the title ever again, as they’ve been on the main event scene for a decade now. It’s now time for new stars to prosper.

The other name on the list was Sheamus. Sheamus should turn heel, because I don’t think he connects with the fans as a babyface. WWE tried to push him hard as a babyface in 2012, but that didn’t work. It would make more sense if Sheamus turned heel and faced Bryan for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Still, Sheamus has been champion before multiple times and I would rather see another wrestler main event opposite Bryan.

I’m hoping the WWE takes a look into the future sooner rather than later. Continuing to push Orton and Cena will hurt them in a few year’s time if both men get injured or decide to take a break from wrestling altogether.
