Though he avoided the WWE Hall of Fame for many years, it looks like Mr. T has finally accepted the company’s invite to be inducted.

Mr. T was outraged that Pete Rose was inducted into the Hall of Fame before him. He also criticized the fact that the WWE even had a celebrity wing of the Hall of Fame in the first place. I agree with him since no other company inducts “outsiders” into their respective Hall of Fames. That said, Mr. T did play a big part on making the first WrestleMania very successful.

It’s unknown as to why Mr. T finally accepted the offer to be inducted into the Hall of Fame. I think it’s because the WWE Hall of Fame is starting to be more prestigious than it has been in the past. No longer are they inducting idiots like Drew Carey anymore. Last year’s Hall of Fame was arguably the most star-studded with Bruno Sammartino getting an induction after so many years of turning it down as well.

Fans may have disliked Donald Trump, but at least he contributed to the successes of WrestleMania IV, V and 23.

Mr. T was a part of the first WrestleMania main event as he teamed up with Hulk Hogan to face Roddy Piper and Paul Orndorff. Mr. T’s popularity in the ’80s was immense thanks to both his starring roles in “The A Team” and “Rocky III“. With Hogan back in the WWE, he should have the honor of inducting Mr. T into the Hall of Fame. I don’t think anyone else would be more appropriate.
