Brock Lesnar Looking Weak Against Undertaker

The build-up between Brock Lesnar vs. Undertaker at WrestleMania XXX has been questionable.

Lesnar is usually built up to be an unstoppable beast. He’s destroyed the Big Show and CM Punk in recent months and has always been seen as a legit monster. Even outside of wrestling, he’s a real-life champion as he’s succeeded in amateur wrestling and MMA. Despite all of this, his booking lately has been poor as the Undertaker has made him look like a punk several times.

Lesnar has remained undefeated against Undertaker in one-on-one competition on PPV. The WWE, however, chooses not to acknowledge this, which I think is stupid. It’s as if they are telling fans this is their first-ever encounter. Not to mention, the story behind their feud hasn’t been explained properly. Paul Heyman just said it was revenge because his man Punk failed to defeat Undertaker at WrestleMania 29 last year.

Lesnar has yet to look strong against the Undertaker during their build-up, which is worrying. Maybe he’ll finally get a push on Raw this week. Some people fear that Lesnar could have a chance to beat Undertaker at WrestleMania, but I don’t think so — not if they want to hype up Undertaker vs. Sting for next year’s event.

The WWE should have acknowledged Undertaker and Lesnar’s history. There was a lot of hype in 2010 when Undertaker actually challenged Lesnar during a UFC PPV. Lesnar had just lost the UFC heavyweight title and the Undertaker made the challenge to face him at WrestleMania 27. This wasn’t possible back then because Lesnar was still under contract with the UFC.

Hopefully the match itself will be good. Undertaker has had a string of great matches at WrestleMania. The last average match he had at the event was when he faced Mark Henry at WrestleMania 22. I’m sure the match will be awesome since it’s the only big match at WrestleMania XXX. All of the other matches feel like normal PPV matches at best.
