John Cena Buried The Wyatt Family
The Wyatt Family looked like they were going to overwhelm John Cena at WrestleMania XXX, but this wasn’t the case as Cena prevailed yet again. Even though Cena was up against only Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan were at ringside. Even then, they too felt the wrath of Cena as he overcame the odds yet again to celebrate in front of the large WrestleMania XXX crowd.
Harper was the first to go as Cena speared him through the barricade. Rowan then got hit by a steel chair. Even with all the outside interference, Wyatt was still not able to win the match. Cena countered and hit the Attitude Adjustment to win. The match itself was decent, but the wrong person won.
I don’t hate Cena, but I’m sick of him being booked as an underdog. This was Wyatt’s first ever WrestleMania; he’s the underdog here. Not to mention Cena had the biggest victory of his life when he beat The Rock at WrestleMania 29. He didn’t need to win here over Wyatt.
WrestleMania XXX was a changing of the guard, but Cena stayed the same. Triple H of all people looked like a jobber to Daniel Bryan. Batista even tapped out to Bryan. Cesaro beat Big Show in the Battle Royal, and Undertaker lost his streak to Brock Lesnar. Cena was the only older type of guy to still come out on top.
Hopefully in the future younger talent prevails over Cena eventually. It’s getting boring seeing him win all the time on the biggest stage when he’s got nothing else left to prove in WWE.
The Wyatt’s somewhat got revenge by beating Cena, Big E and Sheamus in a tag match. Still, Big E was the one who got pinned, so Cena and Sheamus are still protected by WWE’s top officials even though the fans dislike both of them.
