5 Reasons Why You Should Be Okay With Undertaker's Streak Ending

All WWE fans were shocked this past Sunday night when The Undertaker's undefeated streak at WrestleMania came to an end. Some fans were even outraged.

Here are five reasons why the steak ending isn't all that bad:

1. Imperfection Is a Better Story Than Perfection

This is story that I believe Taker is trying to tell. No one is perfect and a 49-year old beating Brock Lesnar, just isn't realistic. All records are meant to be broken and this one is no different.

2. It Makes Brock Lesnar Even More of an Asset

Lesnar being a part-timer is the main reason why people are upset. But what if there are plans for him to return full-time in the future? I have a hard time believing Taker would lose to Lesnar if there wasn't a pay off down the road.

3. No One Will Ever Forget WrestleMania 30

Wrestling fans will always talk about 'where they were' when the streak ended. UT losing at WM 30 is undeniably a more memorable moment than him winning for the 22nd time.

4. Taker's Match Will No Longer Outshine the Title Match

The Streak match has been bigger than the WWE title match for awhile now. The company needed that for the last several years, but it doesn't anymore. The title match should be THE main event. Taker knows that and he's not going to let his ego get in the way of smart business.

5. Undertaker Wanted It To End

For all the angry fans out there, look no further than this reason. The streak wouldn't have ended unless Taker wanted it to. He believes this is the best move for business and we should trust his judgement.

Lesnar is now even an even bigger star and there's more attention on WWE now than there has been in a long time.

But is this the end for Taker? Will he retire? Or will he return for one more final bout against Sting at WM 31?
