Sure, the WrestleMania buzz is wearing off, but that doesn't mean the future isn't bright for WWE. Extreme Rules is right around the corner in one of the best places for wrestling -- New York.

Extreme Rules will take place on May 4th from the Izod Center in New Jersey, and the fans surely won't disappoint. Here's a look at a few predictions and probable matches for the event:

1. Usos vs. Rybaxel

The Usos are obviously going to defend their titles against some team at ER. Barring any debuts or newly formed teams challenging them, I can see Rybaxel finally getting its two-on-two showdown. But if nothing else, fans would love to see the Rhodes Brothers get another shot.

2. Big E vs. Sheamus/RVD/Bad News Barrett

Sheamus is currently in the midst of getting buried, while Christian is fighting back from a concussion. Who knows where they'll end up at ER, but we know that RVD and Big E will be involved. WWE has just announced a tournament to determine the No. 1 contender for the IC belt, and I'd be shocked if one of the four names above didn't win it.

3. AJ Lee vs. Paige

This match will happen at some point, and it would be shocking if it wasn't at ER.

4. Cesaro vs. Jack Swagger

This is another match that has to happen. Is there any way Cesaro doesn't go over? No chance in...

5. Evolution vs. The Shield

The seeds were planted for this showdown at the end of the post-Mania Raw. The Shield is going to be running hot as a face team for awhile, and what better way to get steam than by beating three top heels?

6. Bray Wyatt vs. John Cena (Extreme Rules Match)

This is another bout you can take to the bank. It's really just a matter of what kind of gimmick match the two will have. There are reports that the Izod center is advertising an Extreme Rules match between the two.

7. Kane vs. Daniel Bryan (WWE Title)

This seems to be the direction WWE is going in. Masked Kane is being teased, while Orton and Batista are dealing with The Shield. Perhaps they're saving Orton's title rematch for another PPV? Either way, Kane and Bryan will put on a solid match, but I'm not sold it will main event ER.

Extreme Rules is on May 4th and the Izod Center is not in Brooklyn. Another Bryan/Orton match? No thanks. I’d be okay with Triple H/Bryan 2 and Kane/Orton/Batista vs. The Shield.
