Steve Austin Supports Gay Marriage, and That’s the Bottom Line
Stone Cold Steve Austin supports gay marriage. WHAT? I said Steve Austin supports gay marriage. WHAT? You know, a union between two people of the same sex. WHAT?
That’s roughly how an Austin gay marriage promo would go in front of WWE fans.
But in all seriousness, the most popular wrestler of all time has come out in support of same sex marriage. Here’s a quote from the Rattlesnake during a past episode of his podcast (edited of course):
“I’m for same-sex marriage. I believe that any human being in America, any human being in the world, that wants to be married…if it’s the same-sex, more power to them…What also chaps my ***, some of these churches, have the high horse that they get on and say ‘we as a church do not believe in that.’ Which one of these mo********ers talked to God and God said that same-sex marriage was a no can do? Can you verify? Can you give me some background on that 411?”
Sure, the profanity isn’t necessary, but that’s how he makes his points. That’s why people love him.
I never thought I’d see the day when Stone Cold cut a promo on gay marriage, but good for him. That’s what having your own podcast is all about — saying what’s on your mind.
Some will argue that he’s crazy to feel the way he does. Some will argue that we need more people like Austin speaking out for same sex marriage. Whatever your take is, hopefully you can at least find the Rattlesnake’s entertaining.
