The future of wrestling is just as important as the present. Promotions that survive the longest do so because they have plans for tomorrow, especially when it comes to grooming new stars.
The WWE is very much in a transitional period In many ways, WrestleMania XXX was the end of an era, and it's time for a new generation to take over. Who are the top rising stars in the company?
Paige took the "WWE Universe" by storm when she ended AJ Lee's 295-day reign as Divas Champion, immediately becoming a wrestler to watch.
It's amazing to think that Paige is only 21 years old, because she's already incredibly talented. The sky's the limit in terms of what she can accomplish in the WWE, and she's clearly being groomed as the Diva of tomorrow.
The Wyatt Family is one of the best gimmicks WWE has come up with in a long time, and a large part of the group's success can be attributed to their ringleader, Bray Wyatt.
Wyatt is an outstanding talker who is exceptional when it comes to playing his character. He has quickly gained a large cult following. Bray will be a major player in the WWE for years to come, and is well on his way to becoming the top heel in the company.
Cesaro is not as young as the first two wrestlers on this list, but he's one of the most gifted workers currently in the WWE. Cesaro spent many years on the indie scene before lacing his boots in the big leagues, but he's definitely been worth the wait.
With Paul Heyman doing the talking and Cesaro getting it done in the ring, it won't be long before the King of Swing is a regular main-eventer.
The Shield has been a great success, and Seth Rollins is a major reason why.
Rollins is a tremendous worker, and his looks, speed and high-flying ability make him a natural fan favorite. It's only a matter of time before Rollins becomes one of the biggest babyfaces in the WWE.
Roman Reigns is going to be WWE's next big star, and it may happen sooner than we all think. Reigns has the look, the talent and the charisma to draw a lot of money in wrestling, and the WWE is wasting no time positioning him for a top spot.
He's still fairly green and there's no doubt he has a ways to go, but make no mistake: Roman Reigns is their guy.
