Money In the Bank 2014 is about three weeks out, and fans still don't really know where WWE is going with the annual PPV. Right now it all depends on Daniel Bryan's health. The MITB match could be for the traditional briefcase, or it could be for the WWE title for first time in history.
Here are 5 favorites to win, if WWE holds the traditional MITB match on June 29th:
BNB is one of the brightest rising stars in all of WWE. Just because he's the IC champ, doesn't mean he can't also hold the MITB briefcase. It seems more likely that he'll have a singles or triple threat match for the IC belt at MITB, but you also have to consider him a favorite to win the briefcase if he's added to the main event.
Never count out Super Cena. He doesn't need the title or a title shot, but he's always a threat to win the belt or be in the mix for the belt at any time. If Cena wins the MITB briefcase, he's one of the few superstars who can unsuccessfully cash it in while not being harmed.
Reigns is a future WWE champion. There's little debate about it. But it's unclear if WWE is ready to put him near the title picture quite yet. The safe bet is that he'll be in some type of grudge match with Seth Rollins at MITB. But if not, he'd be a great entrant into the MITB ladder match.
Early MITB rumors had Cesaro as the favorite to win the briefcase. Plans can always change, but you have to believe he's one of the top candidates within WWE. The briefcase and future title shot would make for a great talking point, via Paul Heyman of course.
Given that Wyatt just took a small step back at Payback with his loss to Cena, you have to think he'll be in the MITB match one way or another. Not only will he make the match better, it will also buy WWE some time before they have to put him in another feud. Just like Reigns, you know that Wyatt is a future world champ, so why not get the ball rolling at MITB 2014?
