If you've watched WWE television since WrestleMania this year, you've probably noticed a bit of a changing of the guard. New/fresh faces are everywhere in WWE, and many of them are making a big impact.
In this slideshow we'll take a look at the top 10 rising stars in WWE today:
Do you Bolieve? Some people are having a hard time with Dallas' new gimmick, but it seems to be getting over. Each week there are more and more Bolieve signs in the crowd. While Dallas doesn't have main events in his future, he could be a mid-card star for quite some time.
Slowly but surely the Rusev gimmick is getting over. It's been painful at times, but he and Lana seem to be getting better each time out. We won't know for sure if Rusev is the real deal until he gets in the ring with some stars, but if his Battle Royal showdown with Reigns this past week is any indication, he's likely going to be alright.
After a failed first run, fans weren't too pumped on the Usos upon their return to the main card. But via great tag matches they've gotten over. The only problem is that they've done it with high-flying moves, and not with mic work or other entertainment segments. If Jimmy and Jey can hone their entertainment skills, they might be around for a long time. It's also still too early to tell who the breakout star will be.
Harper isn't just part of the Wyatt Family, he's a future heel star. The guy can flat out go in the ring, he's good on the mic and above all else his look is spot on. There's no reason Harper couldn't have a successful singles run once the Wyatt Family breaks up.
Rollins as a heel is still a little hard to grasp. He seems best served to be a high-flying baby face, but he also just spent the first part of his career as heel with The Shield. He can get over as a bad guy, it's just going to take some time. But either way, Seth Rollins is here to stay.
Cesaro's momentum has waned in recent weeks. He and Paul Heyman make a nice duo, but it's hard to see them sticking together over the long haul. The main problem right now is that Cesaro is stuck between heel and face, a place you can easily label as no man's land.
Ambrose appears to be on his way to singles stardom. He relaunched his character on the most recent episode of Raw by donning a leather jacket and jeans, a look that works for him. But someday soon, Ambrose will turn heel. That's the role he's destined to play in WWE. The comparisons to Brian Pillman and Roddy Piper are fair and accurate.
There's no bad news for Barrett at the moment. He's one of the fastest rising stars in the company, even though it's his second push to the top. If BNB isn't a world champion by 'Mania next year, it will be flat out shocking.
There's no question that Wyatt is a future world champ. But there is question about whether he's a heel or face at current time. He's got no business being a good guy, but yet WWE won't turn him full-fledged heel. Why? You'll have to ask Vince.
Reigns has obviously been the 'chosen one' for quite some time. But until recently it was unclear just how he'd get to the top. As it turns out, he is destined to be a top babyface. Reigns should continue his rise for the rest of 2014, but should not win the world title until WM 31. There's money to be made by making him wait, a la Daniel Bryan at WM 30.
