WWE Money in the Bank 2014 is just days away. More than ever, there's uncertainty surrounding the annual summer PPV. Why? For the first time ever the WWE championship will be up for grabs in the main event. There are literally eight different directions for WWE to go in, and that's just with the final match.
Here are predictions for every match and segment at MITB '14 from Boston:
This is an interesting but solid choice to start the show. Bryan hasn't yet addressed the fans since being stripped of the title, so it only makes sense to bring him back in a fairly high profile spot on the pre-show.
PREDICTION: Bryan Announces Ring Return At Battleground
Fans are in store for one heck of a tag team title bout between the Usos and Wyatts, as long as WWE gives them the appropriate time. Given the lack of matches on the card they should get at least 10-15 minutes to do their thing. Overall, you get the feeling that the titles are going to change hands based on the way things have been booked over the last few weeks.
This bout has not officially been announced, but you have to believe at least one more match will be added to the PPV's thin card. Rusev is on his way up the WWE ranks, and Big E is on his way down. We can all see where this match is headed -- Rusev, crush!
It wouldn't be a WWE PPV without a restroom break.
WWE wisely decided to add this second MITB match. The briefcase is what the PPV is truly all about, as it gives up-and-coming guys a chance to step into the spotlight, and obviously gives one a big future opportunity. It will be crowded with Seth Rollins, Bad News Barrett (injured), Dolph Ziggler, Dean Ambrose, RVD, Kofi Kingston and Jack Swagger all in the mix, but the action will not disappoint.
WINNER: Seth Rollins
Stardust seems to be getting over thus far, and there's really no point to having Rybaxel win this match. That is, unless this is finally the point where they break up the Rhodes Brothers.
WINNERS: Goldust and Stardust
The MITB '14 main event is all that a WWE PPV main event should be. Established stars, up-and-coming stars and lots of intrigue. No one knows for sure what direction WWE is going in because there are so many stars involved: John Cena, Randy Orton, Cesaro, Sheamus, Alberto Del Rio, Bray Wyatt, Roman Reigns and Kane. Look for Reigns to come close to winning, but for him to ultimately be denied to prolong his title chase.
WINNER: John Cena
