10. Hogan and Edge Win The WWE Tag Team Championship

In what was one of the true feel-good moments of 2002, Edge was able to team with his childhood hero Hulk Hogan and the two men captured the WWE Tag Team Championship from Billy and Chuck. Most people think of this as a top 10 Edge Moment, but when people look back at Hogan's return in 2002 they generally remember two things: Icon vs. Icon at WrestleMania x8 and getting destroyed by Brock Lesnar. Most everything else (especially his short WWE title reign) are pushed into the back of peoples' minds. The Fourth of July episode of SmackDown saw one truly special moment happen, even if it is going to be remembered as a mere sidenote in the annals of wrestling history.

It became a memorable moment in one of the biggest sports movies of all time, and it put Hogan one step closer to becoming a household name and a movie star. After taking a year off from pro wrestling following his loss to Yokozuna at King of the Ring 1993, Hogan was convinced by WCW to sign on and renew his wrestling career. 2. Icon vs. Icon at WrestleMania x8

Hulk Hogan returned to the WWF after being gone for nearly 10 years, and he brought the nWo with him. He was supposed to be the villain let loose to destroy Vince McMahon's creation, but the crowd just wanted to cheer for him. They did just that when the match was signed between himself and the biggest star at the time, The Rock. Even though Hogan and the nWo tried to kill Rocky by crashing into an ambulance with a semi, the men waged war in Toronto in front of 68,000 Hulkamaniacs (Canada loves Hogan and doesn't like The Rock so much) before the men closed the show shaking hands and burying the hatchet.

1. Hogan Is The Third Man

1. Hogan Is The Third Man

Scott Hall and Kevin Nash had invaded WCW as a pair of outsiders from up north. WCW was quick to try to put a stop to their misgivings, and during Bash at the Beach in 1996, the WCW team of Sting, Lex Luger and Randy Savage were set to face them in a six-man tag team main event. The Outsiders' mystery third man didn't look likely to show up, but when WCW's team was at a disadvantage Hulk Hogan showed up to help, or so we thought. He dropped a leg on a downed Randy Savage, threw the referee out of the ring and stood tall with Nash and Hall, announcing that they were taking over and creating the nWo.
