There will always be couples in sports. Here are 10 WWE couples that top the list.
Even though many people were disappointed that a talented NXT Diva was saddled with Santino Marella and brought up to WWE TV as a comedy character, the two have produced some fun segments and matches. Santino & Emma are no longer an on-screen couple, but in their short time together they displayed a ton of chemistry and meshed together very well.
Nikki and Cena haven't been acknowledged as a couple on television like Nikki's sister Brie has been with Daniel Bryan, but these two are definitely a power couple. Their drama has been a major part of the E! Network's successful Total Divas show, so even though they aren't a couple on WWE TV, that assures them a spot on this list.
They may not have been an on-screen couple this year (they were on-again-off-again in 2012) but not only were rumors of them dating in real life confirmed in 2014, but after Punk left WWE, the two continued their relationship and recently tied the knot.
Although it is not implied that the two are a romantic couple on WWE TV, this pair has become a cohesive unit and a force to be reckoned with. The NXT-to-WWE upstarts are romantically linked outside of the confines of the squared circle and do indeed make a cute couple.
You can see in the photo that these two are no longer the dancing king and queen of the ring, but they have spent lots of time on television showing their dancing prowess (sort of). Their breakup was more interesting than any of their time together, as Fandango broke it off on Twitter and moved on to Layla. A three-way feud ensued until the two women both decided that he wasn't worth it.
While they aren't an actual couple (on TV or off), Renee Young and William Regal have had an on air relationship as NXT commentators/correspondents for most of the year. Renee looks to Regal for advice and validation while Regal remarks on how cute she is and wishes he didn't have a family.
A major part of the second season of Total Divas was the wedding of Tyson Kidd and Natalya. They showed up on WWE TV together as a renewed version of the Hart Foundation named the Hart Dynasty along with the late British Bulldog's son, who went by the name DH Smith. Kidd and Natalya have been dating for a long time and other than Triple H and Stephanie, are the longest lasting couple on this list.
Another big wedding from the Total Divas series was between sweethearts Jimmy Uso and Naomi. They rank higher on this list than their Total Divas counterparts Kidd & Natalya because until Naomi's recent injury both members of this couple had good roles on TV. Uso continues to be one half of the Tag Team champions.
These two have been WWE's definitive power couple for the better part of the last 14 years. Not only are they in charge of the in-ring talent, but they have control of the company as a whole and are more powerful both on screen and off than ever before. They have dominated WWE's TV shows for over a year as The Authority and continue to be one of WWE's hottest acts.
There is no doubt that the top WWE couple in 2014 is Daniel Bryan and his new bride Brie Bella. Their romance became an official wedded partnership on Total Divas (seems to be a trend) and both of them have become bigger and bigger stars as the year progresses. While Bryan is currently out due to injury, Brie has kept his name in the spotlight and has fought for both of them.
