WWE Rumors: Chris Jericho Returning in November?

Chris Jericho In WWE

Chris Jericho – WWE Universe Facebook

Promotional material has recently surfaced that has Chris Jericho is listed to appear in England on Nov. 10-11 and in Germany on Nov. 15. These dates fall during a break in his band’s, Fozzy, United States tour, which ends just one month after his appearance in Germany. This, of course, has led to speculation that Jericho will be returning to WWE, especially with the Nov. 11 show being set as a Smackdown TV taping.

Now maybe Jericho will just be around the areas for Fozzy promotional appearances and had some time to spare and wanted to give the European fans a special attraction. Maybe the Nov. 11 TV taping will feature Y2J in a dark match before or after the show. Or, maybe, The Ayatollah of Rock and Rolla is getting ready to make his return to WWE television. There are no Fozzy concerts from Oct. 13-Nov. 19. Jericho could easily show up on WWE TV for a month before getting injured by somebody and possibly making a triumphant return at the Royal Rumble to settle the score in January. The current U.S. Tour for Jericho’s band ends on Dec. 12 in St. Petersburg, Fla. I list the specific date of that show for a reason.

The Fozzy tour dates may line up well for him to travel with his band and do WWE TV at the same time. The Nov. 11 Smackdown taping is the second-to-last Smackdown before the Survivor Series pay-per-view. Maybe Jericho will return to be the fifth man of somebody’s team. His tour doesn’t start again, as mentioned above, until Nov. 20, which leaves him free for the Nov. 17 RAW and Nov. 18 SD episodes, and he also doesn’t have a show scheduled for Nov. 23, which is indeed the night of Survivor Series. They have other Sunday shows booked; in face with the exception of that specific Sunday, it’s the only Sunday that is not booked for a show for the whole tour. Interesting…

This may be just a figment of my imagination with a far-fetched plot, but time-wise it does make sense. Could we see Chris Jericho return sooner than we expected? I guess time will tell, and that time is very quickly approaching.
