There are a lot more questions than answers when it comes to The Undertaker and WrestleMania this year. The main question — can he even compete?

Following a pretty close to real-life beatdown from Brock Lesnar at WM 30, Taker reportedly suffered a severe concussion and had to be rushed to the hospital following his match. Even with injuries aside, we’re talking about a man who will be 50 by the time ‘Mania rolls around this March. And not just any 50-year old man, a man with a ton of ring mileage.

Still, it’s thought that Taker could return for WM 31. He’s been seen on recent promotional material and rumors are starting to swirl about potential matches.

With Sting seemingly set to square off with Triple H, based on his appearance at Survivor Series, the question then becomes — who does Undertaker work with?

The latest buzz points to Bray Wyatt.

It’s hard to say that Wyatt would be a bad opponent for Taker. Some call him this generation’s Dead Man, and there are undeniable similarities between the two.

The WWE Universe would definitely be okay with Wyatt vs. Taker. The match would deliver from bell to bell, the entrances would be epic and the proverbial torch could be passed from one dark character to another. It’s not quite the once-in-a-lifetime bout that Taker vs. Sting would be, but in terms of big picture benefit for the company, Taker vs. Wyatt is the way to go.

It’s anyone’s guess as to who would go over in the match, but it’s hard to see Taker losing at back-to-back WrestleManias, the event he helped shape into an entertainment juggernaut.
