One week after the incredible NXT Takeover: R Evolution, Kevin Owens continued to climb the ranks, as he squared off in the main event against Adrian Neville. Additionally, a top tandem experienced some turmoil, while a diva solidified her spot as a future challenger for Charlotte. Here is whose stock changed following the Dec. 18th episode of NXT.

NXT’s preeminent tag team regained some momentum by scoring a victory over Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady, albeit in underwhelming fashion. They also vowed to redeem their previous defeat to Finn Balor and Hideo Itami. Furthermore, vignettes have aired on WWE programming previewing the debut of the duo on the main roster.

A week after being left off the card at NXT Takeover: R Evolution, Breeze announced that he will not be competing for the foreseeable future, as he plans to travel the world modeling. While this has the potential to produce some great entertainment, Breeze’s extended absence from the ring indicates he won’t soon be in the title picture.

3. Becky Lynch - Up

Lynch seems to still be experimenting with her character, but there’s little doubt that she turned in one of her most impressive in-ring efforts this episode. Lynch defeated Bayley with a unique submission maneuver. She could soon be next in line for a crack at the NXT Women’s Champion, Charlotte.

2. Enzo Amore Colin Cassady - Even

Amore and Cassady again provided entertaining mic work, but they can’t seem to score a big victory in the ring. Amore lost to The Ascension in very weak fashion, in part because he was distracted by Carmella. Following the loss, the duo teased dissension, which could either provide them with a fresh direction or potentially break up one of the most talented tandems in NXT.

For the second straight week, Owens took out one of NXT’s top stars. This time, it was Adrian Neville who fell victim to Owens’ brutal powerbomb into the ring apron. Owens shined in the ring as well, putting on a solid performance against Neville in the main event, which ultimately ended in a double countout.
