What’s Next for WWE’s Dean Ambrose?

Now that he has been sent away in the back of an ambulance, Dean Ambrose no longer has an issue with Bray Wyatt. Like a true psychopath, Ambrose is sure to be true to his word and will just move on to the next person who is looking for a fight. He had his fun with Bray and it didn’t go his way, but Ambrose is solidly on the path to being bulletproof, so losing the final match in this feud doesn’t hurt him a bit.

Not only that, but his reaction to it and what he does next is now more intriguing than it would have been if he came out victorious.

So then the question begs, who is the next opponent for Dean Ambrose? Which unlucky WWE superstar will have to partake in playtime with the Lunatic Fringe? A feud with Rusev would likely be an absolute blast, but it essentially guarantees that he will come up on the losing end again, especially if the plan is still to feed Rusev to John Cena at WrestleMania 31. How about Bad News Barrett? The promos alone would be worth the price of admission. That might be a step down for Ambrose, however, so maybe he can go after another crazy person and feud with Luke Harper.

Dial up the intensity to 11 and let them tear it up. They can eliminate each other at the same time in the Royal Rumble match and brawl to the back, have a match at the imaginatively named Fast Lane pay-per-view and then finish it off in spectacular fashion at WrestleMania. Neither man is going to have anything better to do, and it’s a feud that Ambrose can win yet not make Harper look bad in the process. Hell, if done right, it could set Harper up to turn babyface. The crowd already likes him; they just need a reason to cheer. Make him look good in defeat, then move him on to some other hard-hitting feuds and everybody wins.

I know I said that going after Bad News Barrett and the Intercontinental Title was beneath him, so the next suggestion might seem like it’s coming out of the left-field nosebleeds, but how about Fandango? That would be such s ridiculous clash of personalities that I don’t think it’s possible that it wouldn’t work.

Chances are that we will get an indication of where he is headed next at the Royal Rumble PPV in a few weeks, so until then, my breath will remain baited.
