John Cena Set To Take Big Risk In Rehab For Possible WrestleMania Return

By Nicholas A. Marsico

Over the last few weeks, the injured couple of John Cena and Nikki Bella have been keeping everyone abreast of their respective recoveries on social media. This week Cena decided to step it up a notch, sending out a message regarding taking a big risk to get a desired result. It was a very vague statement that will probably not be elaborated upon except possibly to reveal that it was successful. No further explanation, just the status report.

It’s something that pro wrestlers have been doing more and more over the last couple years. Pique everyone’s interests by making a cryptic statement and watch as the doors to speculation city are kicked down. Call me guilty.

With the ongoing rumors that Cena may still be the planned opponent for The Undertaker at WrestleMania, that may be what he is referring to. The big risk is something possibly dangerous (at least enough to slow the recovery process) but if it works it may lead to the desired result of being cleared to wrestle on April 3.

We will find out soon enough what Cena means, but one thing that seems like a sure bet is that Cena and Undertaker will have one more go in the ring. If WrestleMania isn’t the place then SummerSlam would be the likely next best option. There’s a very, very limited amount of time for WWE to get these two men back into the ring together and it feels unlikely that they will let a marquee match like that go, at least not without a fight.
