Lana To Debut In-Ring at WrestleMania Soon, Feud Still Nonsensical

By Nicholas A. Marsico

With WrestleMania looming in just two weeks, WWE is building new feuds at a fever pitch and in an incredibly random turn of events one of the rivalries is seeing Lana targeting Brie Bella. The attack from Lana came completely out of nowhere and WWE has done very little to clarify as of yet. Thankfully it looks like they won’t be participating in a one-on-one contest at WrestleMania, as some other women have been added into the mix.

Lana interfered in a tag team match with Bella and Alicia Fox teaming against Naomi and Tamina, the remnants of Team B.A.D. Paige got involved in the fracas when Lana interrupted a backstage interview with her, again for no well-defined reason, but maybe she just likes stirring the pot.

Having Paige added into whatever match they go with will be helpful in every way. She’s the best wrestler of the lot and the crowd tends to love her, so hopefully it won’t be pin-drop quiet. One would assume that a six-woman tag is being set up with Brie Bella, Alicia Fox and Paige taking on Lana, Naomi and Tamina.

The match would probably be best served on the preshow after the Andre The Giant Battle Royal and before they go into the hard sell for the main show. Settle the crowd down a little bit before going with either AJ Styles vs. Chris Jericho or the United States Championship match between Kalisto and Ryback as the opener. Maybe the New Day vs. League Of Nations match should go first. The point is that the Lana debut festival has no place on the main card.

It would be fantastic if WWE explained why Lana is targeting Brie Bella this week on RAW. Give us a way to not be confused and a reason to care.
