Dean Ambrose Is A Potential Money In The Bank Winner

The most important show of the year for WWE, from a storyline standpoint, may very well be Money In The Bank. Obviously, WrestleMania is the marquee event and the big moneymaker, but the man who wins the briefcase containing a shot at the WWE World Heavyweight Championship that can be used at any time within one year. That’s the possibility of months and months of a spectre hanging over the head of not only the champion but also all of his challengers. It’s a big deal.

One potential winner this year is Dean Ambrose. He’s portrayed as far more crazy than his character actually is (which is frustrating and annoying, but that’s for another time), because Ambrose is a calculated crazy. The thinking man’s lunatic, if you will. Any champion would have a great deal to worry about if Dean Ambrose were to be carrying around that briefcase.

Not only does he bring that unpredictability to the table, but it also puts him in a great situation for WrestleMania 33. Speculation has continued to rise that there will be an all-Shield main event for the WWE Title. Roman Reigns may hold that belt all the way until next year, with Seth Rollins winning the Royal Rumble match. Just when you think Ambrose has made enough crazy decisions, he decides that more than a month away from the big event in Orlando, he is going to announce his cash in. No surprise title matches after a vicious beating or grueling match.

You can’t do a triple threat with The Shield and not announce it beforehand. This idea does that, but at the same time as Ambrose can still walk around with the briefcase in tow, letting everyone know he may just be bluffing.
