Big Show Says Shaq Won't Do Wrestlemania Because He's Out Of Shape & Scared To Wear Spandex

By Timothy Downs

WWE fans have been patiently waiting for NBA Hall of Famer and occasional wrestler Shaquille O’Neal to take on the Big Show for quite some time.

But it appears the rumored showdown at Wrestlemania 33, which is just under a month away, is very much in doubt.

According to Big Show, who recently got himself into tremendous shape, the blame falls on Shaq.

From ESPN:

It’s on Shaq. He has to figure things out in his own camp. Maybe he is just too scared to show up because he’s too busy riding around singing karaoke with John Cena and going to Krispy Kreme and getting fatter every week.

He’s got to be what, 440, 450 pounds? He’s gotten pretty fat. Me on the other hand? I just weighed in this morning at 379 pounds. Maybe he doesn’t want to put on spandex and show the entire world that Shaquille O’Neal, one of the greatest basketball players of all time, looks like Jabba the Hutt.

It’s on him. He has to weigh these consequences in his own mind. Does he want the world to know how fat and out of shape he is? Or does he want to sit back and talk shit into a podcast? Come on, Shaq. Where are you? Just bring some heating pads after the match. You’ll be all right.

As for Shaq, he recently commented on the match during an episode of ‘The Big Podcast With Shaq‘, saying it wouldn’t be his fault if the match doesn’t occur.

Some in the wrestling world believe the two 7-footers are simply trying to generate more of a buzz for their prospective match, which is definitely a possibility.

The only thing we know for sure is that there’s going be to a plethora of upset WWE customers if the match indeed doesn’t come to fruition.
