Browns Delhomme out for more than 1 week?

Seneca Wallace should be under center for the Cleveland Browns this week when the Kansas City Chiefs come to Cleveland but are there lingering health issues which could force Jake Delhomme to miss more than just today’s game? Adam Schefter tweeted this morning- “Question isn’t whether Jake Delhomme will be ready for the Kansas City Chiefs: question is whether he’ll be ready next Sunday for Ravens”. This is sort a veiled Tweet by Schefter as he doesn’t directly say Delhomme’s injury is lingering. It could be that Schefter is speculating that Delhomme might be not prepared to play against the Baltimore Ravens defense or it could mean that Delhomme’s ankle injury is more serious than expected.
I happen to believe that because the Cleveland Browns have been so secretive about Delhomme’s injury and the fact that he has been unable to practice all week, might signal that the ankle injury might be more serious that first believed. Brown’s fans had better not hope that Delhomme has suffered that dreaded three word injury, the high ankle sprain.
