Video: Falcons CB Dunta Robinson’s Helmet-to-Helmet Hit on Eagles WR Jeremy Maclin

Atlanta Falcons cornerback Dunta Robinson will most likely face a hefty fine–or a possible suspension–for his vicious helmet-to-helmet hit on Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Jeremy Maclin in the third quarter of Sunday’s game. Robinson was originally fined $50,000 (it was reduced to $25,000) last season after knocking out Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson with a concussion and happened to suffer a concussion himself–it’s just coincidental both instances occurred against Philadelphia.

After viewing the video, it’s hard not to think the play was done intentionally considering Robinson had all of the time in the world to decide how he was going to tackle Maclin and the helmet-to-helmet was completely uncalled for. Be sure to check the video out above and then ask yourself–should Robinson be fined or suspended for that illegal hit on Maclin?
