Publicist of Terrell Owens Claims Wide Receiver Did Not Attempt Suicide; Says Earlier Reports Were Misleading and Not Factual
For the second time in his career, it’s time to put all of the “Terrell Owens attempted suicide” talks to rest.
According to the Associated Press, Owens’ publicist, Diana Bianchini, released a statement on Thursday–saying the reports about the 911 call about an attempted suicide were “misleading” and “not factual.” Bianchini claims Owens had taken a sleeping aid to fall asleep on the night of October 6 without one of his assistants realizing–which is why she panicked when she arrived at his home.
In fact, Owens was apparently responsive when police arrived at his house–so it appears these reports got out of hand once again. If you remember, a situation like this happened in 2006 when Owens was on the Cowboys and accidentally overdosed on prescription medicine–but the media misled everyone to believe at first that it was a suicide attempt as well.
