The argument can be made that Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick is better suited for the NFL than Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow. Vick’s accuracy is better, he runs faster, and he’s more experienced as a starter, but there’s one area Tebow has almost surpassed the Eagles quarterback in this season–the win column.

While Vick’s Eagles fell to 3-6 on the season following Sunday’s embarrassing loss to the Arizona Cardinals, Tebow helped the Broncos improve to 4-5 on the year after a 1-4 start with a big road win against the Kansas City Chiefs. With the win, Tebow is now 3-1 this season as the starter for Denver–which is just as many wins as Vick.

They may be far apart from a statistic standpoint, but the argument can be made that Tebow is having a better season than Vick based off expectations. The Eagles were labeled as the “Dream Team” by many prior to the start of the season based off all of the talent they had on both ends while nobody really knew what to expect from the Broncos–mainly because they didn’t really know who would be playing at quarterback.

While Philadelphia can pretty much rule out the playoffs at this point, Denver still has a shot thanks to a weak AFC West in which the Oakland Raiders are the only team with a winning record. There’s still plenty of time left before the season comes to an end, but at this rate–it looks like Tebow could end up having a better season than Vick with the way things have worked out so far.
