Nobody Can Explain the Success Behind Broncos QB Tim Tebow

Over the last couple of weeks, football fans have been trying to figure out why Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow has been so successful since replacing Kyle Orton as the starter. On Thursday, the New York Jets became the latest victim to Tebow–which has left everyone wondering what exactly is going on in Denver?

For the third time in five weeks, Tebow helped the Broncos overcome a second-half deficit after their 17-13 win over the Jets to get back to .500 on the season with a 5-5 record. Tebow capped off a 95-yard drive with less than five minutes remaining in the game by rushing for the game-winning 20-yard touchdown.

He’s yet to throw for more than 200 yards in a game. Heck, he’s failed to complete more than 50 percent of his passes in any of his last six games.

Yet despite all of this, Tebow continues to find ways to help his team win games and is now 4-1 as the starter this season. Tebow has helped turn around a team that appeared to be heading towards another top-five draft pick in April’s draft to a team that actually has a shot at winning the division.

So what is it about Tebow that has helped the Broncos win four of their last five games? Better yet, how does a quarterback that many consider the opposite of LeBron James (waits until the fourth quarter before he starts playing well) find a way to win at the end of games when all hope seems lost?

Ask any sports fan across the country and they’ll tell you it’s impossible to explain why Tebow has been so successful this season. For a quarterback that’s been heavily criticized over the last two years for not being NFL worthy, Tebow isn’t letting his weaknesses stand in the way of helping his team succeed and Broncos fans couldn’t be happier.
