First, the Houston Texans had to deal with losing Matt Schaub for the rest of the season with a foot injury. Now, it looks like they'll have to do the same with Matt Leinart after the former first-round pick suffered a shoulder injury against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday and appears to be out for the season as well.

For an 8-3 team that seems to be on their way to finally making the playoffs for the first time in franchise history, this news couldn't have come at a worse time for the Texans. With weapons on offense like Arian Foster, Andre Johnson, Ben Tate, and Owen Daniels along with one of the top overall defenses in the NFL, Houston is certainly talented enough not only to clinch the AFC South, but to earn a high seed in the playoffs.

However, how far this team will go may come down to which player they have calling the shots at quarterback. Rookie T.J. Yates looked decent against the Jaguars (8 of 15 for 70 yards), but the Texans obviously will need to sign another veteran quarterback to help out for the rest of the season.

The Texans already signed Kellen Clemens last week, but there's a good chance they'll add another veteran quarterback this week with the latest news on Leinart. Here's a look at four available veterans for Houston to sign at quarterback.
