Terrell Owens Faces Foreclosure on Two Dallas Condos
Jerome Miron- US PRESSWIRE

Former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Terrell Owens always seems to be in the news– for better or worse.

Our Rant reporters most recently have covered T.O.’s return to professional football, albeit with the IFL’s Allen Wranglers and not on the NFL gridiron. This decision to play in the arena game had to be money driven, and with today’s news that Owens may be in deep financial trouble related to two Dallas-area homes, it makes even greater sense.

It has been reported by several sources that Owens, a long-time real estate speculator, faces foreclosure on two Dallas-area condominiums, one of which is listed at $2.5 million. In total, Owens owes $655,290 on the two condos, $360,000 on a condo in the Azure high rise complex in Downtown Dallas, and another at 3701 Commerce Street in Dallas on which he owes the remaining $295,920.

The debt of these pending foreclosures is compounded by a a $2 million loss Owens suffered in a failed investment into an Alabama gaming and entertainment complex that went under in 2011.

The paycheck Terrell Owens earns from the Allen Wranglers will do little to help toward these debts– but it could be a means to an end. If T.O. is to truly get back on his feet, and have one last chance at NFL glory, someone, somewhere must take a chance on him.

Are there any bridges left that aren’t burned?
