10th Overall Pick: Buffalo Bills Select Stephon Gilmore
With the 10th overall pick, the Buffalo Bills select Stephon Gilmore, the cornerback out of South Carolina. This pick is incredibly stunning. I really didn’t see this one coming, as I thought for sure they would go with Fletcher Fox. Gilmore was a guy I was hoping would fall to the Chicago Bears assuming Michael Floyd isn’t on the board, so I’m a little disappointed.
I don’t think the Bills NEEDED to take Gilmore at 10 and could have traded down, but I still am very surprised. Gilmore should be at least the 2nd best CB on the Bills next year in 2012.
