2012 NFL Draft: Winners, Losers From Each Division
The 2012 NFL Draft has come and gone, but it didn’t disappoint. There were 16 trades within the first round on Thursday night, the most in league history, and 19 overall involving first-round picks. In fact, four of those trades came within the top 10 picks. These moves sent unsuspecting players like Oklahoma State receiver Justin Blackmon to surprising new teams like the Jacksonville Jaguars.
That was one of several big moves that defined the latest edition of the NFL Draft. The later rounds were also full of bold moves and shocking results, although not all of them were good.
So, as is custom within all aspects of sports, now is the time to crown a “winner” and “loser” from each of the eight NFL divisions with how each of those particular teams “performed” during the draft. In other words, which teams had the best draft and which ones had the worst? Which teams improved their teams the most and which ones did the least to get better on the field?
