Make no question about it, the Green Bay Packers aren’t shy when it comes to advertising. Last season, we saw Aaron Rodgers spam our airwaves with his “discount double-checks”, with teammates BJ Raji and Clay Matthews chipping in as the season went on. Now, Rodgers’ favorite target Greg Jennings is getting in on the act, starring in a new Old Spice commercial.
As always, Old Spice continues to shine with their commercials. Nothing is more random than the thirty second bits they churn out, so it’s nice to see a funny, outgoing guy like Jennings can shine for once. Outside of this commercial, the most we saw of Greg Jennings off the football field was during the Youtube video where he put his team on his back, doe. If you have no idea what I am talking about, feel free to search it on Youtube. It is a delight.
I’m sure this isn’t the last we have seen from Old Spice this season. They pretty much save all their advertising campaigns until the NFL season begins, which makes sense since they are one of the major sponsors during the year.
As a Packer fan, it’s pretty cool to see these guys get some publicity as long as they don’t overdo it like Peyton Manning would. But please, no more discount double-checks. I cannot take it any longer, even with the belt!
