According to Multiple Reports, San Francisco RB Frank Gore Will Hold Out Unless Given New Deal
Published: 27th Jul 11 4:48 pm
ESPN’s Adam Schefter and Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk are each reporting that Frank Gore is not happy with the final year of his contract, and wants to be given a new deal.
So much so that he will hold out of training camp until he gets on.
Matt Maiocco of CSNBayArea.com is reporting that the 49ers have been unable to contact Gore since the lockout ended on Monday, so one wonders how serious these reports of a hold out are.
Gore is supposed to make $5 million in 2011; he rushed for 853 yards last year before breaking his hip and missing the final five games.
He deserves a lucrative contract, but one would think $5 million in the final year would be good enough before testing the free agent market in 2012.

I think that five million is plenty of money for someone who will probably only play maybe ten games this season. Seriously, when was the last time he didn’t miss games in the regualar season due to injury. It is hard to feel bad for someone who makes five million, yet only plays 10 games because he’s always injured,
Yea he doesn’t deserve a raise until he proves he can stay on the field
the seonson is shot
Maybe Frank knows somthing we don’t? Perhaps he is not going to be what he used to be production wise and is trying to score a fat deal before any one knows that he has lost a step, due to injury or age.
