Hawk’n Roll!
Hello Hawkers! The NFL clock is ticking and ticking as we inch closer to Seahawks madness. One of the things I get excited about is the energy at Qwest Field. It’s bottled madness in our Seahawks temple. The army of Seahawks soldiers is armed (mostly drunk!) loud (drunk) and ready to yell (because they’re drunk). And I love it when our fans just yell on their own. Not because a rainbow version of the word NOISE is on the jumbotron but because the fans are just LOUD and love the Hawks! It’s hards to beat. They say it’s the loudest place in the NFL. If it’s not, I don’t believe it. The place is crazy in there. It’s so loud that I’m waiting for a Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome like show to start. I’d like to see the Hawks enter to a different song though. The Verve song was cool for a while but it’s done. It’s played. Give me something rockin. Something new. Something Seattle. We are a proud Rockin’ city. Let’s get the rock rollin’ early in the game. What song would you like to see the Seahawks enter the field to? I think there is a cd that comes with Pete Carrol’s book…he’s been DJing at the local clubs promoting it!…..however I think most of the songs are no hype…no excitement….emotion free with tones of rythm and quiet swagger!….There might be something on there they can use….!!
