Just when it seemed like things can’t get any worse for the Arsenal Gunners, it somehow does for the North London side.
Decimated by a combination of injuries and transfer defections of Cesc Fabragas, Gael Clichy, Samir Nasri and the rumored move of team captain, Robin van Persie, Arsenal is now rumored to be losing one of their few—and talented—remaining forwards in Theo Walcott.
According to ESPNSoccer.net, Walcott has been approached by Seria A side, Juventus about a possible move.
Walcott, 22, joined Arsenal from Southhampton in 2004 and has scored 34 goals in 184 appearences for the Gunners. Walcott’s agent, Colin Gordon would go on to deny that Juventus never spoke to his client.
Walcott’s contract expires in 2013.
