Liverpool has signed highly-rated American midfielder Marc Pelosi.
Pelosi, 17, has joined Liverpool’s academy squad after moving from Dea Anza Force club in California.
Pelosi- no relation to Nancy- has starred for the United States U-17’s, making 28 appearances and scoring 8 goals. He captained the side during this year’s U-17 World Cup in Mexico leading the Americans to a spot in the Round of 16.
Liverpool beat out Tottenham for Pelosi’s signature.
