Miguel Rugilo - Public Domain

On May 9, 1951, Argentina played against England at Wembley.  Although Argentina lost 2-1, journalists praised their goalkeeper, Miguel Ángel Rugilo, nicknaming him “El León de Wembley” (“The Lion of Wembley”). He would be called that for the rest of his life (he died in 1993, sadly).
