Mario Balotelli Crashes Bentley in Manchester City Centre
Just as soon as you think there isn’t anything left Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli can do to top his most recent stupid stunt, he does something even stupider.
This time around reports are surfacing that Balotelli crashed his white Bentley in the Deansgate Locks area of Manchester, and though he was unhurt, a female passenger was taken to the hospital as a precautionary measure.
The wreck reportedly was not Balotelli’s fault, and the driver of the Vauxhall Corsa he wrecked with appears to have been the guilty party in the accident. It’s a lucky break for Balotelli who, in spite of his “best” efforts, always seems to find trouble whether he is looking for it or not.
Most recently, the Manchester City star was featured in press coverage across the world for hitting the strip clubs prior to an important test against Bolton, causing him to miss curfew and incur a 396,000 pound fine from Man City manager Roberto Mancini. Prior to that, the Italian star was a part of a fireworks incident which raised eyebrows and also scared the ever-living crap out of his teammates in the process.
After the fireworks incident, Balotelli told the Guardian that he was “moving to the countryside for a quieter life.” Something tells me that this quieter life doesn’t include a Thursday afternoon wreck in a Bentley in the middle of Manchester, for the world to see, and the rest of us to report on.
Just a hunch that nothing’s changed for Super Mario.
