Fulham striker Dimitar Berbatov has released picture via his Facebook page that seem to show he has a certain impressive talent in art.
The Bulgarian striker uploaded various caricature drawings to the social-networking site, showing us that he is not just a footballing artist, but also a fine one when he has a pencil and a sketch-pad before him.
Having scored a brilliantly elegant volley vs Stoke on Saturday, Berbatov spent his spare time drawing some impressive images, including a picture from “The Godfather,” which he has been called in the past.
He described it as ‘a quick drawing’, but evidence suggests otherwise. His passion for “The Godfather” was seen before when he did an impression of the classic film on YouTube.
His 1.3 million Facebook fans responded positively with 21,000 likes.
Berbatov also drew British actor Hugh Lawrie along with Bruce Willis, Snoop Dog, Tupac and Hugh Hefner.
On the pitch, Berbatov has continued his reputation for being an artistic footballer with the incredible elegance and skill that he has shown this season for his new side, Fulham.
Having left Manchester United after three fairly reasonable seasons, he is now the main man at his new London club. Berbatov’s touch, cool finishing and creative imagination has returned this season and he has found the net nine times.
It’s a delight to see when he’s on the ball and also pleasing to see him now get games week in and week out, having had a fairly stop and start affair at Manchester United.
