Ronaldo, Rooney and Suarez in Big Summer Moves?

Christiano Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney and Luis Suarez are massive names in the world of football and all pivotal to their respective clubs – but the rumours are growing louder daily that these three may be moving.

Of the three players mentioned, I feel that the Ronaldo deal is very wide of the mark.  It is being touted that Manchester United is trying to piece a deal together to bring him back to Old Trafford where Ronaldo made his name before being transferred to Real Madrid for a world record £80,000,000.

The speculation has been sparked by the Spanish press saying he is not going to sign a new contract at the Bernabeu.

The second rumour flying about has Rooney linked with a move to PSG.  This has a lot more substance to it, as it is thought that the French club may test Manchester United’s resolve with a £40 million offer.

This could prove very tempting, as Rooney is 28 and it is very doubtful whether United would want to extend his current contract worth a reputed £250,000 a week into his thirties. It may also be tempting for Rooney, too, with a possible link up with Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

The most likely move of the three has to be Suarez to Bayern Munich.  Although Suarez has publicly declared his loyalty to Liverpool, a move to Bayern Munich would enable him to play in the Champions League and have a good chance of winning it. The other big factor in him signing for the German champions is Pere Guardiola.  Pere is Suarez’s agent and the brother of Pep Gurdiola, who is going to manage Bayern Munich at the end of this season.
