Trabzonspor lost 3-0 at Akhisar two weekends ago in the Turkish Super League matchup that they will soon want to forget.

Akhisar coach Hamza Hamzaoglu is currently the assistant to Fatih Terim at the national level for Turkey. Constructing this brilliant win showed us all why exactly Terim chose him. The wonderful part is that he was chosen prior to that game. This decision, once again, shows us why Terim is such a footballing genius, but that is a discussion for another time.

The game seemed to be lost to Trabzon after the first goal was scored, since they could not find any luck in front of the opposing frame. They seemed as if they were never into the game to begin with, and winning is simply not a possibility when stepping onto the field with that type of attitude.

This weekend, Trabzon will host Karabukspor, who always prove to be a test when it comes to big games on the road against one of the better sides in the league. In addition, they haven’t lost thus far into the season and have seven points. If Black Sea side does not play throughout the match with a high-tempo offense, they may very well tie or even lose this one.

Here are the guys that have to be huge:

Adrian Mierzejewski is the club No. 10 and is responsible for scoring and assisting goals in the final third. He is good on the ball, has a decent amount of stamina, and is very good at scoring on home soil.

Paulo Henrique is having a break out season in front of frame. He has scored in the Europa League qualifiers and will definitely be a factor at home this weekend.

New boy Florent Malouda has to play this game as their leader and make some magic by either scoring or setting up his teammates. He also has to use his Premier League experience to gather the troops to play some attractive soccer that can earn them all three points.
