Real Madrid Should Tear Apart Getafe This Weekend

After their midweek invasion in Istanbul, Real Madrid will look to build on that 6-1 whooping with a small Madrid derby victory over Getafe on home ground tomorrow evening.

The La Liga race is still very much alive after last weekend’s disappointing 2-2 draw at Villarreal. Madrid will look to bounce back with a hefty home victory over a feisty opponent in Getafe.

Cristiano RonaldoIsco and Gareth Bale are clearly the players to watch out for in this fixture. This is a game where if they come together they can easily tire out their opponents which will give them a lengthy 20′ to dazzle their opponents and perhaps put more than three or four goals on the board total on the night.

Ronaldo is coming off of a fresh hat trick and an assist against Gala in midweek. Yes, the defense did stop playing professionally after 2-0, but nonetheless a hat trick in hell is always going to be respected. He is still considered the very best and of course the overall offensive leader of this team. He will continue to carry the success of this side on his back.

Bale still has a lot to learn but he truly did rule the Premier League as the best player at Tottenham judging by the awards he won last season. Here at Madrid, he can learn so much from Ronaldo and perhaps be nearly as good as he is one day in the future.

Prediction: Real Madrid 3, Getafe 1 — Ronaldo grabs at least a brace while Benzema or Bale connects on the other. Getafe’s strike comes on a counter where the Madrid defense gets caught out in an unfortunate manner.
