Real Madrid went down early to a brave Getafe side in the first half, but they ended up thrashing their fellow Madrid side 4-1 in front of their brilliant home fans.

PepeRonaldo (two) and newcomer Isco netted the goals that brought them yet another three points. Now, they sit just two points behind Barcelona and Atletico who are both level atop the league with 15 points.

Real Madrid have now won four games and have drawn just once which arrived a week ago at Villarreal after they shared the spoils after a 2-2 score line. This game was their only slip-up thus far after the first five games.

Now, a trip to Elche is next up on their league journey and this is a game that they are expected to win by at least one or two goals. Yes, the same was said about Villarreal. But Elche would have to be extremely lucky to defeat a healthy Madrid side.

Ronaldo, Isco, Pepe, Di MariaKhedira and Carvajal have been the very best on their roster as they have all impressed with consistently brilliant performances in their respective positions on the field. If they keep it up and continue to play even better and more focused, the team will continue to grab clutch much-needed wins to build towards their goal: winning the league, Cup and of course their 10th ever UCL title.

With coach Carlo Ancelotti having the respect of everyone in the locker room, the team is playing exactly the way that they are expected to: nearly to perfection. This team seems to be playing their best soccer in years and frankly, their closes league and European opponents should be wary of them.
