AS Monaco striker Radamel Falcao Garcia is one of the most deadly forwards in the world, and he’s been a transfer target for Real Madrid since he was starring in River Plate. After very successful tenures in FC Porto and Atletico Madrid, the Colombia international left the Vicente Calderón and joined the French side this season where he has been scoring at a one goal per game rate becoming a fan favorite almost instantly.
That could all change soon, however, as Real Madrid are still targeting the striker. There have been several rumors that a change of scenery might happen sooner than later.

The Spanish TV program Punto Pelota reported a few days ago that Falcao’s switch from Monaco to Madrid wasn’t a crazy thought, and today they went further as they declared that there’s a secret agreement between the player and Real Madrid’s chairman Florentino Pérez, who is a keen admirer of the forward and has repeatedly expressed his interest in signing him.
They also reported that the meeting was fairly short and that there weren’t any fees or dates involved. The only thing clear is that both parties agreed that the best thing for Falcao would be a return to Madrid as he hasn’t been able to adjust to life in France and his family misses Spain.
It hasn’t been confirmed yet, but the poor performances from Karim Benzema and the high price tag around Liverpool striker Luis Suarez would make Falcao the primary target for Los Merengues who could either try to land him in January or after the World Cup, the latter being the most probable choice.
Regardless of what happens, Falcao is an elite player that’s currently transforming Monaco into the powerhouse they were the last decade. If he were to arrive at Santiago Bernabeu, the attacking trio of him, Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale would make Los Merengues the most dangerous team in the world.
