Real Madrid have been relying on front man Karim Benzema to score the goals with Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale slightly behind him on either side. With teammates like them, scoring for Benzema him should be no problem, but he somehow created one as he can not find the back of the net in recent times.

The good news for the Frenchman is that he has struck twice in his last two international matches for his country. Therefore, maybe his form is beginning to rise right back up again. However, if he keeps on misfiring, he may be sold come January in the next transfer window.

Possible replacements for Benzema are Radamel Falcao, Luis Suarez and Sergio Aguero. All three would be near perfect fits as they can all dribble, hold possession, run and almost always know how to put the ball into the back of the net.

Let’s start with Falcao who just left La Liga to join free-spending Monaco of Ligue 1, out in France. The reason why he would return to Spain is due to a broken promise that involves tax money from the French club. He is outstanding when it comes to being in the right place at the right time in front of net and is a master at heading the ball home. He would fit right in at the Bernabeu.

Suarez can play as a right winger but also as a striker. He is smart when it comes to assisting his teammates, but at the end of the day, he is one of the very best when it comes to scoring alone. He would have to adjust to the 4-2-3-1, as he is used to playing in a 4-3-3 and a 5-3-2 at Liverpool. He would play as the lone striker but would come back to help defend and make Ronaldo and Bale look better than they already do.

Aguero is good at holding off defenders, sprinting and setting himself up to score. He became a star at Atletico Madrid and has continued to blossom at Manchester City. He can play down the wings but is stronger when it comes to building up from the middle. He would also be a brilliant fit at Real.

This is a fact that was rightly saved till now: both Falcao and Aguero played for Real’s crosstown rivals, Atletico, and might have even mentioned that they would never play for the white side of Madrid. Well, at the end of the day, we all know that money is what talks in this business. Let’s see if either one of them decide to return to Spain.
