Real Madrid appear to be functioning better as the season advances and they will have a chance to confirm their growth against Real Sociedad.

After the loss against Barcelona in El Clasico, Los Blancos haven’t lost again and they have scored for fun in the league, netting seven times against Sevilla and three more against Rayo Vallecano. They will have a difficult match against another Champions League side that will surely look to get a positive result from Santiago Bernabeu.

Los Merengues have a deadly attacking trio in Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema and despite the obvious capacities of the Portuguese star, the one that could make the bigger impact is the Welshman. Bale found the back of the net against Juventus and he seems to be improving lately, so he will look to have another strong performance against La Erreala.

Real Sociedad, on the other hand, are a dangerous side up front, but they haven’t got results in the last few times they’ve visited Los Blancos. Their goalkeeper Claudio Bravo will be one of the most important players for the visitors. The Chilean international is regarded as one of the best shot-stoppers in the league, and he will need to be at his best to keep his team in the game.

Prediction: Real Madrid 4-1 Real Sociedad

Los Merengues will struggle to score the first goal of the game but once they do, the game will open up for them. Their attacking trio is just too much to handle for Real Sociedad’s defensive line, and they should have an easy time earning the three points in front of their fans.
