Currently six points behind the league leader Barcelona, Real Madrid will look to take another step towards the top of the league, as they will visit a struggling Almeria side in a game where Los Merengues are clear favorites to come away with the three points after the final whistle.

Through 13 matches, the difference between these two teams is clear on the league: while Real Madrid sits third with 31 pts, Los Rojiblancos are on the 18th place with only 12 points.

With Real Madrid being the clear favorites to win the game, the question most people ask is not whether they win, but the margin that will exist once the game is over. Real Madrid has one of the best attacking lines in the game with players like Karim Benzema, Gareth Bale and Angel Di Maria, but no player is more decisive for the Santiago Bernabeu outfit than Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Portuguese star is coming off a stellar performance in the World Cup Qualifiers, where the netted four goals in two matches against Sweden, and he will look to add to his impressive tally this year against an Almeria team that will surely have a tough time stopping the Portuguese star.

Prediction: Almeria 1-4 Real Madrid

Los Merengues are poised to have a great game, and if they are at their best offensively, they could score a bunch of goals against an Almeria team that could score a few goals, but they have almost no chance to pull the upset in this encounter.
